About

Welcome to Freeburg Animal Hospital!

When your pet seems to be slightly off in its behavior, you might be witnessing the first signs of sickness. In most cases, animals will attempt to mask the symptoms and signs of their sickness. This behavior is a natural protective instinct used in the wild to prevent shunning and/or attacks by predators. Any subtle change in your pet’s normal behavior could be an indicator of illness.

Our Mission

Freeburg Animal Hospital, P.C. opened its doors on May 4, 1992, the answer to the dream of Dr. Stanley J. Niemann. The modern facility was built with the idea of providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for all of our animal patients. The hospital contains a complete laboratory and pharmacy as well as radiology and surgical areas.

It is the philosophy of the Freeburg Animal Hospital to provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine and surgery services to our patients. This will be accomplished by:

  • Serving as the patient’s advocate by providing preventative medicine and health assessments to promote a long, healthy life.
  • Educating our clients on health needs and proper pet care to enhance the Human Animal Bond.
  • Caring and treating our patients as our own.

What Our Fur Parents Say About Us

The quality of service provided is always phenomenal. Dr. Niemann and staff are always pleasant, patient, and easy to work with. I have taken pets to Dr. Niemann for 20+ years. Dr. Niemann and his staff treat his clients and their pets like family. Freeburg Animal Hospital is the one and only Veterinarian office for me.

Sandy W.

All of the staff were friendly and displayed a gentle caring interest for my cat. We are starting out with the most cost conscious and least invasive approach to see if it works before trying other interventions. Dr. Neiman was very thorough, gentle and provided top quality professional care.

Doctor Niemann and his staff are the best. Dr. Niemann is kind and patient with our dog who is suffering with a bladder tumor. He is helping us to make Murphy’s last days comfortable. His vet tech and the receptionist make us feel at home when we visit. We can’t say enough about the care our pet receives at this hospital. He is the best vet in the area.

I think Casey is very friendly and great!!
